Mr. Pozzuolo is the senior shareholder of Pozzuolo Rodden, P.C., Counselors at Law. He received his B.B.A. “Cum Laude” in Accounting in 1971 and Law degree from Temple University in 1975. Mr. Pozzuolo primarily practices in the areas of Complex Business, Tax, Estate Planning and Administration and high profile, selective, intricate Family Law Litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association Committee on Taxation, the Philadelphia Bar Association on Probate and Trust Law, the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council and is the past president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Alumni Association of Beta Gamma Sigma, the National Business Honorary Society.
Mr. Pozzuolo is the founder of the firm. His commitment and service to his clients and their closely held businesses have brought success to the firm and the clients. Many business and individual clients, including members of the judiciary, bar and other professionals, have been represented by Mr. Pozzuolo for the last two to three decades. A few examples of long standing tri-state regional business clients include Accommodation Mollen, Inc., Airborne Systems (formerly Para-Flite, Inc.), Billows Electric Supply Company, Central Metals, Inc., Dandrea Construction Company, Dopaco, Inc. (the largest fast food packaging company in the world), Liscio’s Italian Bakery, Mortgage Lenders Network USA, Myofascial Release Treatment Centers and Slocomb Industries, Inc. as well as many individual clients such as Steve Sabol, the late Frank “Tug” McGraw, Larry Christenson, Jerry Blavat, Jimmy Young and Louis Paolino.
Mr. Pozzuolo has lectured before many professional and business organizations, including being an instructor for hundreds of business, tax, pension and advanced estate planning and administration courses for providers of Continuing Legal, Certified Public Accountants and Insurance Professional Education. Also, Mr. Pozzuolo has appeared on numerous television and radio stations to lecture in the business, tax and estate planning areas.
Mr. Pozzuolo has published many articles for a variety of professional business, tax, estate planning and pension publications. These articles have been published in a variety of National Tax, Estate and Business Journals, including Prentice Hall, Inc., Journal of Accounting, Journal for the American Society of CLU, Journal of Asset Protection, Journal of Financial Service Professionals, Practical Tax Strategies, Research Institute of America and Warren, Gorman & Lamont. JUDITH P. RODDEN, J.D., B.A.
Ms. Rodden is a 2001 graduate from the Beasley School of Law of Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, graduating in the top 20% of the graduating class. Ms. Rodden received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science/Public Administration from West Chester University, West Chester, Pennsylvania in 1979.
Ms. Rodden concentrates her practice in the areas of Commercial Real Estate and Development, complex Commercial and Business Litigation, intricate Family Law involving business assets, Employment Law and Adversary Actions in Bankruptcy cases and issues related to the sub-prime mortgage crisis. Ms. Rodden has defended both employees and employers in employment discrimination actions including the successful defense of a Chester County employer in a class action national origin discrimination lawsuit filed by the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Prior to practicing law, Ms. Rodden enjoyed a successful career as a Vice-President and Financial Aid Administrator for several multi-location post-secondary institutions with locations throughout the East Coast and has extensive experience in the area of regulatory compliance. During law school, Ms. Rodden was employed as a law clerk for a Montgomery County boutique real estate practice and title insurance company completing hundreds of complex real estate and financing transactions.
Ms. Rodden has lectured before many professional and business organizations on such topics as Commercial Real Estate and Development, Condominium Conversion and Employment Discrimination issues facing employers today including actions brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1965, as amended, as a lecturer for the Division of Continuing Adult and Professional Studies of Neumann College, Aston, Pennsylvania. Most recently, Ms. Rodden presented a course entitled A 2008 Nuts and Bolts Overview of Family Law for the Suburban General Practitioner with Ethics for the Division of Continuing Adult and Professional Studies of Neumann College.
Ms. Rodden is admitted to practice before the bars of the Supreme Court of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the State of New Jersey. Ms. Rodden has also been admitted to practice before courts throughout the country including the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland.
STEPHEN P. TAYLOR, L.L.M., J.D., B.A.
Stephen P. Taylor is an associate at Pozzuolo Rodden, P.C. where his primary focus is Corporate and Estate Taxation and Planning. He is a LLM in Taxation and JD graduate from Villanova University School of Law where he served as Managing Editor of the Villanova Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. Prior to joining Pozzuolo Rodden, PC, Stephen acquired extensive legal training by clerking with the IRS-Office of Chief Counsel , the Honorable Mary F. Walrath in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and the Honorable Jack A. Panella of the Superior Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Stephen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
JEFFREY S. POZZUOLO, J.D., M.B.A., B.S., B.A.
Jeffrey S. Pozzuolo is an associate at Pozzuolo Rodden, P.C. He is a JD/MBA graduate from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and Fox School of Business. Mr. Pozzuolo received the Benjamin L. Winderman Award for outstanding academic achievement in the JD/MBA program from the Law School and the Dean’s Certificates of Excellence from the Business School. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the National Business Honors Fraternity.
Mr. Pozzuolo graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics (Finance and Accounting) from the Wharton School and a BA in Mathematics from The College of Arts and Sciences. Mr. Pozzuolo has published articles in the national business and estate planning publications.
He has also furthered his international business experience studying abroad in Rome, Italy and Tokyo, Japan as well as interning for a Japanese insurance start up while abroad in Japan.
LESLEY M. IBANEZ, J.D., B.S.
Ms. Ibanez is an associate at Pozzuolo Rodden, P.C., Counselors at Law, where her primary focus is Commercial Litigation. She received her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law and her Bachelor of Science Degree “Cum Laude” in Psychology from Florida State University. Prior to joining Pozzuolo Rodden, P.C., Ms. Ibanez acquired a comprehensive general background by clerking for the Honorable Glynnis Hill in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Major Crimes Division, interning with an International Corporation located in Rome, Italy and clerking for a small center city law firm specializing in personal injury and medical malpractice. Ms. Ibanez completed Temple Law School’s Clinical Program with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Ibanez is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
